Langtang Heritage trek offers you the remote and spectacular valley of Langtang, with the high mountain lakes at Gosainkund. Visit the beautiful Langtang National Park and then trek to the end of the valley to view the wonderful mountain views.

Following the Trisuli River north out of Kathmandu, the Langtang Heritage trek now travels through Trisuli Bazaar and Dhunche to Syabrubensi, a Sherpa village located at the very edge of the Langtang National Park. We then swing east into the Langtang valley, crossing the river several times as we travel up along a gorge-like, lower section of the valley.

Day 01 Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1345meters). Hotel

Day 02 Kathmandu to SyabruBensi (1462m/4795ft) (6:30 hours)

Drive from Kathmandu to SyabruBensi by bus via Trisuli Bazar and Dhunche( popular town). You will witness nice scenery of the White Mountains of Mt. Annapurna II, Manasalu, Ganesh Himal, and other minor peaks are visible from Kakani (along the route) and as well as green scenery of hillock, rivers, villages while driving to Syaprubensi. Syabrubensi is an attractive village with large stone houses.

Day 03 SyabruBensi to Lama Hotel (2510m/8232ft)

From Syabrubensi we begin our trek by following the Langtang River, a river we will be following over the next few days, all the way to the head of the valley. After crossing the suspension bridge, the trails ascent ridge to Paira Lodge and after Paira Lodge, the trails, gradually ascent until to New Bridge and the trail climbs up to Rimche and after 40 minutes, we get then to Lama Hotel. This day, you might be feel wilderness and might get opportunity to see wild animals like monkeys, red Pandas, Himalayan Black Bears etc.

Day 04 Lama Hotel to Langtang village (3307m/10846ft)

From Lama Hotel the trail gradually climbs up to GhoraTabela through a forest of hemlock, oaks, maples and rhododendron with spectacular, fleeting glimpses of Mt. LangtangLirung (7,244m). Leaving GhoraTabela, the path follows the delightful LangtangKhola, climbing steadily up to the spread-out Langtang village (3,500m). At the afternoon, we hiking up to KyanjinRi and back to Kyanjin Gompa.

Day 05 Langtang village to ChorkariRi (5050m/ 16564ft) and back to Kyanjin Gompa

Get up an early morning at 5:30 am. The trail climbs gradually to Sindum and to Yamphu (3640m). Crossing the LajaKhola then climbs a moraine to a viewpoint where you can see KyanjinGompa and the dramatic icefall flowing from LangtangLirung. After KyanjinGompa, climb to the top of Chorkariri (5050m). Enjoying spectacular panoramic mountain views of the whole Langtang Himalayas, including LangtangLirung (7,244m), LangshisaRi (6,810 m.), Gyanghempo (6,888 m.) Ganjala peak, Nayakang more. Besides, incredible mountain views, Langtang valley views with dramatic icefall flowing from LangtangLirung and Gyanghempo peak can be seen.

Day 06 Trek down from KyanjinGompa to Lama Hotel (2510m/8232ft)

On your 6th day of Langtang Heritage Trek you trek down from Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel at an altitude of 2510m. Similarly, the Lama Hotel is a very famous place in the Langtang Region. Likewise, after you reach the Lama Hotel you will get an amazing view of the surrounding which will add value to your Langtang Heritage Trek.

Day 07 Lama Hotel to ThuloSybru Village (2210m7248ft)

From Lama Hotel the trail descends till Paira Lodge. Then the trail ascent through the forest after crossing the river, climbing to Syabru Village.

Day 08 Sybru Village to Cholangpati (3860/11688ft)

Passing Schools and gompas the trail ascent through the forest of hemlock and oak until trail Dursagang (2660m). Then the trail gradually ascent through forest Sing Gompa and then trail gradually ascent to Cholangpati.

Day 09 Visit Gosaikunda and Lauribina pass (4610m/ 15120ft) and Trek down to Cholangpati (3680m.)

Today is a very exciting day on one’s journey because today you will visit Gosaikunda and Lauribina pass which are the main attractions of the region and trek. Furthermore, this visit to Gosaikunda will add value to your trip. Then, after trekking down to Cholangpati at an altitude of 3680m.

Day 10 Trek down to Dhunche

This is the last day of trekking in the Langtang Heritage Trek. Similarly, today you will trek from Cholangpati to Dunche at an altitude of 3560m. Then overnight at a suitable lodge.

This is the last day of the trip. So, after a light meal, we take a drive back to Kathmandu for an overnight stay at the hotel.

    Major attractions in Langtang Heritage Budget Trek -12 Days

    The Langtang Heritage Trek gives you a fantastic experience of traveling in the remote and spectacular Langtang Valley. Similarly, the trip to Langtang Heritage Trek starts with one’s arrival in Kathmandu, and from Kathmandu, after a valley tour, the trip heads towards Syprubeshi. And, from Syprubeshi the trip continues with a trek towards Lama Hotel.

    From Lama Hotel the trip travels through different destinations. Firstly, from Lama Hotel the trek goes to ThuloSyabru and Cholangpati. Furthermore, on this trip, you will visit Gosaikunda and Laurebina pass (4600 m.) and trek down to Cholangpati (3680 m.). After, Trek down to Dhunche.

    Then drive by bus to Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel. After breakfast, our Airport Representative will drop you at the Kathmandu international airport for your final flight departure from Nepal.

    Good to Know

    Q. Do you provide any gears for trekking?
    A. Yes, we do provide roughly 65 liters one duffel bag, sleeping bag and down jacket to use for trekking without extra charge, if you do not have.
    Q. Can I rent or buy gears in Kathmandu?
    A. You can buy or rent trekking boots and rest of the gears, you need to need to buy.
    Q. How much weight does porter carries?
    A. We do provide one porter between 2 trekkers. One porter carries 25 to 30 kg respectively.
    Q. How much weight does airplane allow to Lukla?
    A. Twin Otter and Dornier planes are the primary mode of transport to and from the airstrip at Lukla. It allows 15kg per passenger, including had bag.
    Q. Can I take some more gears for paying extra charge?
    A. It is hard but some time, they do allow 2 to 3 kg with paying extra charge US$ 2 per kg
    Q. When Should I pack my gears?
    A. You will have pre-trip meeting in Kathmandu that night you pack trekking gears.
    Q. What equipment should I carry at Daypack?
    A. Most of our day packs have a capacity of roughly 20 to 24 liters. You need to carry only day use things like water bottle, light jackets, some extra shocks, sun hat, sunglasses, raincoat, light glove, scarf, toilet paper, and small towel, camera, some personal medical, Sunscreen, Passport, money, camera, trekking poles and some snacks. Rest of the gears will be carried by porter.
    Q. Can I store suitcase and other unnecessary gears in hotel in Kathmandu or at your office?
    A. Yes, you can store either at the hotel in Kathmandu or at our office without extra charge.

     Travel Insurance

    Travel insurance is compulsory for all Clients undertaking any tour.
