Trip Confirmation & Booking Policy:
Unique Path Trekking is a well-established and reputable trekking and tour company based in Nepal. To confirm your trip, we kindly request a photocopy of your passport along with a 20% deposit of the total trip cost. This advance payment allows us to proceed with flight bookings, hotel reservations, and necessary permit arrangements, ensuring a smooth and well-organized travel experience.

Trip Confirmation & Preparation Guide:
Once we receive both the passport copy and the advance payment, we will issue a final confirmation email. This email will include:

  • A formal receipt for your payment
  • Detailed trip itinerary and inclusions
  • Important pre-departure information

This confirmation serves as your official booking acknowledgment and secures your place on the selected trek or expedition.

Final Payment Policy:
The remaining balance of your trip cost must be settled upon your arrival in Nepal. However, please ensure that the full payment is completed prior to the official departure of your trek or tour.

Last-Minute Booking:
We understand that travel plans can come together quickly, and we’re happy to accommodate last-minute bookings.
Bookings made at least 7 days prior to the tour departure date are accepted.
For last-minute reservations, we advise prompt submission of required documents and payment to ensure smooth processing. Our team is ready to assist you with swift arrangements and personalized support.

Travel Insurance Requirement:
Travel insurance is mandatory for all clients participating in any trek, tour, or expedition organized by Unique Path Trekking & Expedition.  Your insurance policy should provide comprehensive coverage for the entire duration of your trip, including:

  • Personal injury and medical expenses
  • Emergency repatriation and helicopter evacuation
  • Loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings
  • Trip interruption or cancellation due to unforeseen events

We recommend choosing a policy that is specifically tailored for adventure travel and high-altitude trekking.

Cancellation by the Client:
If you need to cancel a confirmed booking, the request must be submitted in writing, either via:
A signed document
An official email sent to our company
Cancellation is considered valid only after written approval from Unique Path Trekking & Expedition. Once confirmed, the trip will be officially canceled, and the following terms apply:

  • A 20% cancellation fee will be deducted from the advance payment made.
  •  The remaining balance (if any) will be refunded according to our refund policy.
    We encourage clients to review our cancellation terms carefully before making changes to their travel plans.

Risk & Liabilities:
At Unique Path Trekking & Expedition, we are deeply committed to delivering exceptional service and unforgettable experiences. We approach every journey with honesty, professionalism, and care.
However, all tours and treks in Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan are conducted under the respective government regulations and local policies. As such, we cannot be held responsible for itinerary changes or disruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control, including:

  • Government restrictions or policy changes
  •  Natural disasters (landslides, floods, snowstorms)
  • Road blockages or flight cancellations
  • Political unrest or strikes
  •  Illness, injury, or accidents during the trip

Any additional costs incurred due to such events (e.g., transportation, accommodation, medical evacuation) must be borne by the client at the time they arise. We strongly advise all travelers to remain flexible and prepared for unexpected changes, and to carry appropriate travel insurance to mitigate risks.
